Three Month Old Child Dies of Unknown Causes

On January 25th, 2008 approximately 4:20 A.M., Folsom Police officers and Folsom Fire paramedics responded to a '911' call on Middle Fork Court regarding a three month old female child found unresponsive in bed.
When the paramedics arrived, the child's 27-year old mother was attempting C.P.R. Folsom paramedics continued life saving efforts and transported the child to Mercy Folsom Hospital where she was declared deceased approximately 5:01 A.M.

Folsom Police detectives and crime scene investigation personnel are in the preliminary stages of their investigation. The investigation is continuing and the cause and manner of death of the child are unknown at this time.
The child's parents are cooperating with the police investigation and no detentions or arrests have been made.
