Announcing The Google University at Technology For Marketing & Advertising

Google has confirmed it will return to Technology For Marketing & Advertising 2008, where it will hold seminars offering information about how companies can grow their businesses online. Back by popular demand from the event in 2007, Google will run 'Google University' sessions for both beginners and experts on 12th & 13th February, at Earls Court 2, London.

The 'Basics' and 'Masterclass' sessions will be tailored to attendees knowledge and will demonstrate how to use Google to change the way people do business in acquiring, converting and retaining customers on their websites. The sessions will be hosted by Google professionals Rob Kiely - Relationship Manager, Healthcare and Rachel Coate - Relationship Manager, Retail, with each session running for an hour twice a day.

Visitors must register for TFM&A to attend one of the Google sessions and are encouraged to do so soon as places are filling up fast.

James Elias, Head of UK B2B Marketing at Google comments, 'With the high volume of marketing and advertising professionals attending Technology For Marketing & Advertising, it is an important event for us to demonstrate to the right people the most effective use of search marketing for their businesses.'

Google has also been confirmed as one of the 'fantastic five' free keynotes at the event, joining Saatchi & Saatchi, Facebook, Oracle, and digital guru Danny Meadows-Klue. Google Director of Marketing for UK, Ireland & Benelux, Dan Cobley will be discussing how consumers will re-shape the way brands and marketers use the web.
