ROCKY FORD, Colo. (EWORLDWIRE) Jan 23, 2008

SAF-TEE Corp. new Wireless Valve Stem TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) tire pressure sensor has shrunk to more than half the size of the original sensor and dropped to about 26 grams from the original 58 grams.

The new wireless TPMS Valve Stem sensors will ship with all new orders coming in as of January 31, 2008. "Weight and size are not the only reasons we have changed the sensors," said Todd Wessels, vice president of SAF-TEE Corp. "The new sensors now come with a 7-year warranty - 2 years longer than the previous 5-year warranty, and we also have increased our transmission distance to well over 80 meters or 240 feet without using any type of repeater to push the signal.

"The last area of improvement includes a new anti-theft device. This is to help people from taking the sensors off of vehicles that are using our wireless TPMS system. It will not keep everyone from having their sensors stolen - it is more of a theft deterrent system, and we still stand behind our promise of sending a customer a replacement sensor or broken sensor for free," added Wessels.

The new sensor has been tested like no other sensor. "We were able to vibration test these sensors and age them about 10 years in a matter of week with the help of the Department of Transportation (DOT). The DOT can perform testing better than anyone can, and with that testing, the final product reflects a super-reliable and useful piece of safety equipment for anyone that has tires on their vehicle."

"The biggest area of growth that we are seeing is in the RV market, having distributed over 500 for evaluation and testing of these systems in the last couple of weeks. We never stop our innovation of our TPMS systems."

"SAF-TEE Corp. systems offer so much more reliability performance without increasing product cost. Systems display tire pressure, tire temperature, slow leak capability, and a much greater range, at a much reduced price over other manufacturers - plus we let end-users set their own thresholds for low and high pressure and temperature, rather than preset a set percentage, providing drivers with a more accurate warning system."

"We run our business on a very simple principle: supply customers with everything they need at one low price. Our systems come complete and consumers don't need to buy additional equipment just to make it work. We are also able to keep our overhead costs down by not running expensive ads in journals."

"I would much rather supply my customers free sensors when they have lost or stolen sensor or broken displays than put pretty ads in magazines. I can buy a lot of sensors for the price of any advertising space, and supply a product I stand behind. Those advertisements only do one thing for customers and that is raise the price of systems, and I want my customers to have the best customer service, the best product, and the best prices, and best vehicle safety around," said Wessels.

The mission of SAF-TEE Corp includes ensuring customers' safety by providing high quality products and services as a leader for transportation safety products. Maintaining this high quality requires among many characteristics flexibility in an ever-changing marketplace, and always looking for ways to keep improving products.
