Pet Obesity Lecture/Los Angeles Fit Expo
The issue of pet obesity will be addressed at a seminar presented by animal health and fitness advocate and human fitness expert, Michael Torchia (www.healthypetnation.com) at California's largest and best-known fitness event, The Los Angeles FitExpo, Friday, February 15 through Sunday, February 17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 South Figueroa Street, West Hall B. On Sunday, February 17, 3:00 - 3:45 p.m., "Pet Obesity and What to do About It" will offer useful tips on pet exercise and healthy diet. Chris DeRose, president and founder of Last Chance for Animals, will make a special guest appearance at the session.
The Los Angeles FitExpo adult admission tickets are $10 per day or $20 for all three days. Children 12 years and under are $5 per day and under 6 are free. Tickets are available in advance through the FitExpo website, www.thefitexpo.com or at the door. Show hours are Friday, 3 - 7 PM, Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM and Sunday, 10 AM - 5 PM. On Friday, students with ID are admitted free. Discount coupons are available at participating Los Angeles area Subway, GNC and 24 Hour Fitness locations. Plenty of parking is available.
