PHOTOS: A softer side - Soldier gives stuffed animals to Albu Hayat children

Phoenix native Maj. Brian Horine, civil affairs officer with Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, gives a stuffed animal to a little girl during a convoy stop in Albu Hayat, Jan. 14. Horine carries stuffed animals and other treats for children with him when leaving Camp Taji to hand out. The toys and other goodies are donated and stored at a humanitarian assistance warehouse on Camp Taji, Iraq.

The stuffed animal was one of many items donated for Iraqi children. Soldiers with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division often bring the goodies with them to give to children when they leave Camp Taji, Iraq, to conduct area missions.
