West Virginia Sergeant Clears Weapons After Mission

BAGHDAD - Ripley, W.V., native Sgt. Joseph Adkins, a squad leader on the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division's personal security detachment, ensures Staff Sgt. Jason Hyronemus' weapon is cleared after returning from a mission at Forward Operating Base Falcon, Jan. 14.

Hyronemus is a Canton, S.D., native serving with the 4th IBCT as a forward signal support specialist.
