Nine Lashkar Workers Arrested in Kashmir: Police

Srinagar, Jan 16: Police today claimed to have arrested nine over ground workers of Pakistan based militant group, Lashkar-e-Toiba from North Kashmir.
Giving details, a police officer Harmeet Singh told NewsBlaze that nine Lashkar workers were arrested during different raids in North Kashmir.
He said the arrested Lashkar workers were working for slain Lashkar Commander Abu Kital who was killed by Police and army, the other day.
The police officer said questioning of the arrested persons is ongoing and more arrests may take place. During questioning the militants have revealed that they were transporting arms and ammunition to militants besides providing food, shelter and hiding places to the Lashkar militants.
