Presidential Candidate Daniel Gilbert Chats with Judyth Piazza

My name is Daniel Gilbert, and I am running for the Republican nomination for the office of the President of the United States of America. Believe me, it was not an easy decision. I am an ordinary American just like you. I believe America is the greatest country on earth.

But greatness does not occur by accident or with ease. From our nation's very beginning, ordinary Americans have stepped forward to serve - compelled by a love of country and the desire to pass on to their children a nation of brighter promise. Today I am stepping forward to serve America, and I am asking you to step forward with me.

Much needs to be changed. During my lifetime, I have witnessed the gradual erosion of our American heritage. First, prayer was banned in schools. Now, prayer is banned in the public square. Our republic, carefully crafted by our forefathers to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority, has been abused. Now the majority is subjected to the tyranny of vocal minorities. Judges legislate from the bench and legislators calculate clever reelection strategies so as to maintain power. Illegal aliens, drug smugglers, and terrorists steal across our borders while, both Republicans and Democrats give lip service to security, or worse, try to deceive us with cosmetic half measures. You and I must act.

Let the political elite know you will not remain silent while they assault the very Constitution they have sworn to defend. My fellow citizens, we can no longer stand by while elites trade away our heritage in the name of political correctness. Just as I am running for President, I encourage you, to run for political office. Only with the election of a truly conservative President and a strong conservative majority in Congress can we return conservative principles and heartland values to government.

To achieve this goal, we are searching for selfless candidates interested in serving America rather than ruling America. Our hope is to field candidates in every state and district at every governmental level to run against the ruling elite of both parties.

Our task will not be an easy one. We are opposed at every turn by a media which ignores the goodness of America and trumpets negativity. The conservative viewpoint is either distorted or ignored. Your help is needed!

We are in urgent need of volunteers in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina.For your country, for your children, and grandchildren, let us, We the People, elect candidates who have the courage to return conservative principles and heartland values to government.
