Homeland Security Network, Inc. Through Its United Nations' Partner Addresses Latin America's First Ladies Conference
KEASBEY, N.J. (EWORLDWIRE) Jan 8, 2008
Homeland Security Network Inc. (HSNI) , through its United Nations Global Center partner, has presented its water treatment product, Clear Blue 104 (CB104), to the Latin America's First Ladies Conference held on November 27, 2007 in San Salvador, El Salvador. HSNI's representative, the distinguished Dr. Gilda Glasinovich who is the United Nations representative and technical advisor on gender and immigrant populations, addressed the group and, as expected, received a tremendous response.
Dr. Glasinovich reports that the heads of the nations of Honduras, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico and Paraguay have sent further inquiries and expressed their desire to continue to explore the use of CB104 throughout their countries. The Dominican Republic has already arranged for representatives of HSNI to meet with technical personnel in Santo Domingo on January 8, 2008 to begin the distribution of CB104 in the country.
Peter Ubaldi, president and CEO of HSNI, was most encouraged by the overwhelming response of the Latin American delegates and the initial on-site implementation of CB104 in The Dominican Republic. "We know we have a unique product that solves many serious water-related problems for the region We expect these initial meetings will lead to strong business relationships with a number of Latin American and Caribbean countries beginning in the first quarter of 2008," stated Ubaldi.
About HSNi and CB104
CB104 is a unique and internationally patented biocide with a number of vital applications for a variety of industries. The product has recently been EPA approved and determined to be an effective bactericide, algaecide, fungicide and herbicide. It can be used to create drinkable water from polluted water, eliminate serious algae problems and dramatically reduce populations of water born mosquito larvae. It will replace the use of caustic chemicals currently in use that negatively impact the environment including the reduction of the Earth's ozone layer. CB104 is also unique in that it is non-corrosive and anti-oxidizing, which will make it the chemical of choice whenever treated water has contact with metal object, such as in water cooling towers.
HSNi has obtained exclusive marketing and distribution rights to certain global regions, countries and international Fortune 500 companies. The company's growing list of potential customers has been greatly enhanced by its partnership agreement with the newly-formed United Nations agency's Global Center for Health, Education and Environment. A major focus of this agency is dedicated to the enormous task of bringing clean drinking water to the nearly one billion people worldwide that suffer without it. HSNi and its water treatment technology expect to play a major role in this effort on a worldwide basis.
