State-of-the-Art Ad Insertion Technology for Hotels Creates New Revenue for Superwire and a New Market for Advertisers
Superwire, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SUPI)
announces a strategic alliance with Resort Media Group (RMG) of California
for the marketing and deployment of digital Ad Insertion Technology to the
Hospitality Industry. The initial agreement deploys systems in 25 hotels
in Texas, Arizona and California.
Additionally, under the terms of the agreement, RMG will also market
Superwire Ad Insertion systems to the top 1500 hotels in major cities in
the U.S. This will allow Superwire to provide 8 to16 channels of Digital
Ad Insertion on the most popular Cable Television Networks (e.g., ESPN,
CNN, TBS, USA, etc.) to hotels such as Holiday Inn and Radisson.
In addition to their marketing expertise, RMG provides in-room
entertainment and information technology to the hospitality market that
complements Superwire's proprietary Ad Insertion Technology. Superwire
cuts the cost and speeds up the deployment of Digital Ad Insertion
technology systems and maximizes demographic outreach. RMG distributes
easy-to-use Flat Panel TV interfaces to hotel travelers' cameras, iPods,
video games and other digital devices without having to reach rear panel
input jacks. Additionally, RMG offers applications such as ad-supported
Hotel Guides, Video on Demand (VOD), and special TV-specific interface
capabilities to provide controlled access to content from the internet.
Guests will be able to listen to home town radio, news and traffic in
addition to other popular web content.
Once fully deployed, Superwire will be able to insert local, regional and
national ads to the niche business of the leisure traveler market. Richard
