Indian Forces Resorting to "State Terrorism" in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 24: A pro-India political party has accused Indian forces deployed in Kashmir of resorting to "state terrorism" by killing innocent civilians. The pro-India party has asked the Indian Government to rein in its troops in Kashmir.
A spokesman of Awami National Conference, pro-India group, in a statement issued here said that there has been an increase in the incidence of civilian killings in Kashmir at the hands of Indian forces. The spokesman said that party feels that by killing civilians, Indian troops are resorting to "state terrorism" in Kashmir.
He said that his party would seek justice in a court of law. "We will seek trial of the soldiers involved in innocent killings. We will try to ensure that the guilty soldiers are punished", the spokesman said.
He also urged the Indian Prime Minister to keep his promise of Zero Tolerance. "The Indian government should rein in its troops deployed in Kashmir and hold them accountable for innocent killings", he added.
