Jonas Brothers Headline Verizon Wireless / NHL Rockin' Skate 2008, Presented by Upper Deck
Tickets On Sale Today; Usher, Taylor Kitsch to Emcee

Platinum recording artists Jonas Brothers will
headline the Verizon Wireless / NHL Rockin' Skate 2008, Presented by Upper
Deck on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Philips Arena in Atlanta. Global superstar
Usher and Taylor Kitsch, star of NBC's television series "Friday Night
Lights," will emcee the 2008 NHL All-Star Weekend event. Proceeds from the
event will benefit Usher's New Look Foundation, a non-profit program
established to expose young people to the business side of sports and
entertainment.

Starting today, tickets will be available for purchase to Verizon Wireless
/ NHL Rockin' Skate 2008, Presented by Upper Deck. Tickets, which range
from $10 to $30, will be available on-line at or by
calling 404-249-6400. VIP hospitality opportunities are available for
purchase by calling Front Row Associates at 617-247-6111.
During the open team practices, Vancouver-born Kitsch will conduct on-ice
interviews with Eastern Conference and Western Conference All-Stars.
Following the team practices, the New Jersey-reared siblings Kevin, Joe,
and Nick Jonas will take the stage. The Jonas Brothers have become a
phenomenon with one of the best success stories of the year. With heavy
online presence, Top 40 mainstream airplay, countless magazine covers and
national TV appearances, the band's popularity has grown by leaps and
bounds. The tipping point came with their stellar performance at the
American Music Awards, which catapulted the band to platinum status in less
than one month.
The 2008 NHL All-Star Weekend in Atlanta will feature live national
broadcasts of the Dodge/NHL SuperSkills event on Saturday, Jan. 26 and the
NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 27 on VERSUS in the United States and CBC
and RDS in Canada. NASN and other international broadcasters will provide
live coverage of both the Dodge/NHL SuperSkills event and the NHL All-Star
Game to more than 115 countries and territories in Europe. NHL RADIO on
Westwood One will provide exclusive national radio coverage which can be
heard on stations around the United States and Canada as well as on XM
