Stop the Slaughter of Endangered and Threatened Whales!

by Care2 and ThePetitionSite Team

The Japanese whaling ship is headed out to the southern ocean to kill hundreds of whales, and Greenpeace activists are right there behind it.

End the whale hunt NOW>>

This year, the Japanese whalers plan to kill more than 1,000 whales, including 50 endangered fin whales and 50 threatened humpback whales, making this the largest hunt in 20 years.

Greenpeace's boat has been following the Japanese whaling ship since it left and headed toward the southern ocean. Greenpeace activists literally are getting in between the harpoons and the whales to try to stop this horrific practice forever.

New Zealand, Australia, and Europe have all called on Japan to stop the killing. But instead of standing up to Japan's illegal and unnecessary whaling, the U.S. State Department made a weak statement conceding that Japan has a legal right to whaling.

Take action for whales today! Tell the United States to put pressure on Japan to stop the whale hunt TODAY!>>

Thank you for protecting our precious ocean life.
