Connecting Jewish Troops For Hanukkah
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
Roz Fruchtman, a Bronx, NY Digital Artist wanted to do something special for Hanukkah. She was thinking about the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, wondering how she could do something to brighten up their lives.
Therefore, Roz decided to help reconnect Troops overseas with their loved ones, families, friends and business associates. Roz operates an eCard service that connects family and friends whenever the recipient is online to pick up their eCard.
The website, Say It With eCards offers more than 3,600 Judaic eCards. The cards can be customized by including a digital image or audio file within each one. Members say it is the next best thing to being together and feeling connected to home.
Roz says, "The Internet is a wonderful tool, and there is nothing more rewarding to me than to help reconnect those away at war, with family at home. My heart goes out to those troops and families separated by war, which can be even harder during the holidays. In the spirit of the season, this year I can make a difference through my Online Judaic eCard Service."
She is offering free memberships for 100 Troops and wrote a note to the troops to describe how it works.
The free 12-month memberships include unlimited card sending, calendar, reminders, voice recording, photo upload and more.
Go to Say it with Ecards to find out how to connect.
