A Sure Way To World Peace

Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story, which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see. - C.S. Lewis

Miracles come in many different shapes and sizes; however, sometimes the smallest miracles have the biggest impact. SMALL MIRACLES contains the true stories of thirty stunning incidents from the author's own life. The first and the last chapters deal with bringing the different religions of God, sciences and the arts, closer to one another. It suggests to revive an old theme in The Holy Koran and The Holy Bible: "The Nation of Abraham". Under the name, "The Believers", a global organisation can be started which can bring the believers of God, in different religions, closer. Everyone reads the others' books as well as his own.

Being the religions of the same God, the same ethical values in the different religions, enable the believers to come closer spiritually: love, peace, justice; belief in one God; praying to God for mercy and benevolence; brotherhood among all the believers of God and sharing with others what God has given to one; respect for the self, for the other, for the truth and knowledge and beauty; modesty, self control. These are some of the common ethical values in the different religions of God.

Seeing that the other religions of God have the same ethical messages, feelings of enmity in the different religions of God turn into the feelings of brotherhood- an important step for world peace. No one leaves his own religion, but brings his religion into this cult: "THE BELIEVERS", a starting point for global peace. WRITERS DIGEST, in its recent competition, has complimented on this aspect of the book, "SMALL MIRACLES" by Askin Ozcan. Two stunning small miracles have happened in connection with this movement. "SMALL MIRACLES" contains the true stories of other very interesting and stunning small miracles from the life of the author, as evidence that there is God and God is capable of doing anything. Askin Ozcan has sent a copy of the book to His Holiness The Pope Benedictus XVI and it has been well received. - Askin Ozcan has been for ten years, the Associate Secretary General of I.A.E.W.P., a major peace education organisation associated with U.N. as an NGO and has been for two years its delegate at the U.N. (in Vienna and Geneva). - http://www.outskirtspress.com/smallmiracles
