Blue Cat Trains to be Croupier

When Lester first mentioned he wanted to be a croupier, we bought him a practice unit. It's what any good parent would do to support their child.

Lester was a little blue, so we really wanted to make him feel good. While out shopping a few days later, we found the perfect practice unit. Like him, it was blue. It seemed strong and well made, so we bought it.

Luckily, it didn't come in a box. Every parent has had the experience of buying an expensive item and their child just wants to play with the box, so that was a relief.

When we brought the practice unit into the house, we were a little worried about Lester's brother wanting to use it too, but as usual, when a new item is introduced, Lester waslks up to it immediately and begins investigating. Chester, on the other hand crouches down and circles around it at least ten times before getting close enough to realise it isn't going to jump on him.

The first day, we gave Lester training, but he learns very quickly. Within a few hours, it looked like he was an expert. I really think he must have been a croupier in a former life.

I got out the camera and he performed very well. Next week, I plan to send out his CV to see if we can get him a job. We're not sure whether we should start with Cache Creek Casino, or go straight to Las Vegas. He expressed a preference for a casino with other large cats, so I guess that means Vegas.

Lester (actually Leicester, but pronounced the same) is a 22 pound Maine Coon Blue and his brother Chester is a Maine Coon Red. We love them equally, but we know Lester is the star croupier. Chester has the looks, but not the practical ability.
