Ensim Launches Unify SaaS Program
Info Support Creates New Service Manager for Microsoft CRM 3.0 With Unify's SaaS SDK

Ensim Corporation, the leading provider of
management software for unified communications infrastructure, today
announced the launch of its Unify SaaS program, an initiative designed to
provide expert tools and processes that enable Independent Software Vendors
(ISVs) and providers to easily create and deliver new service offerings.
The program is being introduced at this week's Microsoft TechEd IT Forum in
Barcelona, Spain.
Ensim's Unify SaaS Software Development Kit (SDK) enables ISVs to easily
create service managers -- ready-to-deploy software connectors that
integrate their applications with the resources and functionality of the
Unify platform -- to allow their applications to be delivered in a SaaS
model. The combination of the Unify Shared platform and the SDK enables
ISVs to tap into the ever-growing SaaS market opportunity.
According to Gartner, a leading industry analyst firm, the SaaS market
reached $6.3 billion in 2006 and is forecast to grow to $19.3 billion by
the end of 2011. With its new SaaS program, Ensim removes one of the
biggest constraints affecting the outsourced software industry today --
time to market. The Unify SaaS program also benefits ISVs by giving them
access to new distribution channels.
Info Support Benefits from Ensim Unify SaaS Program
Ensim partner Info Support is a leading European IT services company based
in the Netherlands. The company deploys Microsoft's platform for Hosted
Messaging and Collaboration across Europe with Ensim Unify as the
application management center for many hosted applications.
Info Support identified regional demand for various hosted applications and
decided to undergo Unify SDK certification in order to build their own
Service Managers and quickly respond to customer requests. Highlights of
Info Support's experience with the Ensim Unify SaaS SDK include:
-- Info Support received an onsite process where SDK theory was combined
with the actual delivery of a simple "Unify Service Manager" -- the
connector between the Unify platform and a 3rd party application.
-- Post training, Info Support built a Service Manager for Microsoft CRM
3.0 to meet existing demand.
-- The Unify Hosted CRM connector was built in only 84 man hours,
including documentation.
-- Info Support did not have to spend hundreds or even thousands of man
hours on complex resource management, reseller and wholesale enablement,
GUI design and provisioning automation. This was because the Unify platform
contained all of the pre-built components.
The Hosted CRM Service Manager will be made available to all Ensim Unify
customers by December 1st, 2007. Info Support also has a roadmap of
applications to launch using the Unify SaaS SDK by the year's end.
"For us to be able to create connectors to complex applications in such a
short time speaks powerfully to the value of Unify's SaaS SDK," said Edward
Voermans, hosting specialist for Info Support. "With this capability, we're
equipped to help our customers achieve even greater revenue growth by
enabling the rapid creation and delivery of innovative services."
"Small and medium-size enterprises are geographically dispersed and loyal
to local providers, making them a difficult target for ISVs to pursue on
their own," said Francois Depayras, vice president of marketing at Ensim.
"Our Unify SaaS program allows them to create and offer their applications
as services both directly as well as through a network of resellers. We
help ISVs reach this market efficiently without incurring high costs."
