IHOP Rolls Out New Menu Items
New Menu Items Reflect IHOP's Ongoing Strategy to Reenergize the Brand; Nine New Menu Items Extend the Goodness of IHOP Through Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

IHOP (NYSE: IHP), one of America's favorite
restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, today announced the roll out
of a revamped menu with dishes ranging from new pancakes to barbecue ribs
and chicken. The nine new items extend the goodness of IHOP through
breakfast, lunch and dinner, and reflect IHOP's ongoing strategy to
reenergize the brand and ensure guests can enjoy something new whenever
they visit.
"IHOP's new menu retains the classic favorites our guests love, while also
providing fresh, new items that can be enjoyed any time of day," said
Carolyn O'Keefe, Chief Marketing Officer of IHOP. "We know our guests
visit IHOP for everyday indulgences, and they can count on us to provide
delicious new choices. We're pleased to provide them with new IHOP items
that are sure to quickly become favorites."
The nine new items can be found throughout the menu, and are the result of
IHOP's ongoing consumer research to maintain a menu full of fresh and
craveable items.
-- Double Blueberry Pancakes: Four buttermilk pancakes filled with
blueberries, topped with warm blueberry compote and whipped topping.
-- Strawberry Banana Pancakes: Four pancakes filled with sliced fresh
banana and crowned with cool strawberry topping, more bananas and whipped
topping.
-- Sirloin Tips & Eggs: Grilled, tender, juicy, marinated USDA Select
sirloin tips with grilled onions and mushrooms. Served with two eggs, hash
browns and two buttermilk pancakes.
-- Smokehouse Combo: Two smoked sausage links served with two eggs, hash
browns and two buttermilk pancakes.
-- Strawberry Banana French Toast: Six French toast triangles topped
with cool strawberry, fresh banana and whipped topping.
-- BBQ Ribs: Slow-cooked, tender, meaty pork ribs basted with sweet and
tangy barbecue sauce. Served with seasoned fries, garlic bread and
cinnamon apples.
-- BBQ Chicken: Two tender, grilled chicken breasts basted with a sweet
and tangy barbecue sauce. Served with seasoned fries, garlic bread and
cinnamon apples.
-- BBQ Ribs & Chicken: Grilled chicken breast and our pork ribs basted
with sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. Served with seasoned fries, garlic
bread and cinnamon apples.
-- Grilled Tilapia Hollandaise: Two lightly seasoned tilapia fillets
grilled to perfection and topped with rich hollandaise sauce. Tilapia is
also available on the menu as a Senior Special, Kids menu item and on the
IHOP For Me menu.
-- IHOP For Me Create-A-Face Pancake: Available on the IHOP For Me
portion of the menu, with less than 15 grams of fat and 600 calories. A
big buttermilk pancake with strawberry eyes, a whipped topping nose and a
fresh banana smile. Served with a tube of strawberry yogurt to add your
own special touch.
