DALLAS, Oct. 31, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Tactical Air Defense Services, Inc. (TADS), is pleased to announce an exclusive fifteen year lease agreement with Air Support Systems, LLC., for the use of its versatile ILyushin IL-76 supertanker aircraft. The company intends to utilize the firefighting IL-76 to bid for contracts with various state and federal agencies to assist in defeating the devastating fires sweeping across the western United States.

The agreement with Air Support Systems, LLC for the exclusive use of its IL-76, is for an initial five year term, with two subsequent and exclusive five year terms.

Management believes that its IL-76 supertanker is currently the only IL-76 supertanker to ever gain entry into the United States. The IL-76 supertanker is a Russian made aircraft specifically designed for aerial firefighting, and has already been successfully utilized in Russia, Greece and Indonesia for such purposes. The IL-76 has a longer range and higher water/flame retardant payload then other commonly utilized firefighting aircraft. The IL-76 supertanker can deliver over 18,000 gallons of liquid in a single pass, covering an area approximately a quarter of a mile wide and one and a half miles long, while following a fire line at an altitude of as low as 15 feet above ground and at an air speed as slow as 100 miles per hour. Moreover, management believes that the IL-76 is the only aircraft of its size specifically designed for military purposes and to withstand the rigors of water bombing, which makes the IL-76 an extremely safe and reliable aircraft.

Alexis Korybut, CEO of TADS stated: "The operation of our IL-76, the world-famous firefighting savior of Russia, Greece, Indonesia, and other nations, will now be available to save the lives, property, and natural resources of Americans, and we are very excited to show the tremendous value that our IL-76 can bring to the United States."

Tactical Air Defense Services, Inc. has been working on development of government contracts for its military flight training and air to air combat training services, while securing the additional financing necessary to execute and expand its business model. If the Company is successful in procuring firefighting contracts, this will expand TADS's prospective business and operations into aerial firefighting as well as military pilot training.
