Oct. 30: Pirate Cave Halloween Haunt Hits Five-year Mark, to Delight Thrilled
Local Trick-or-Treaters eagerly await its opening
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (EWORLDWIRE) Oct 30, 2007
Eager anticipation of the opening of the 5th Annual Pirate Cave in Northridge has lured area residents and Halloween enthusiasts to ogle the erection of its towering, eight-foot walls and the appearance of the realistic skull head accompanied by flaming eyes and smoky breath. Rumors have been spun about the awesome creatures and spooky spirits guarding the precious treasure, riveting ardent patrons to the edge of their seats.
A local, yard haunt favorite drawing hordes from neighboring communities, the theatrical entertainment of the Pirate Cave is prepared and provided by freelance artist Sean Jones, and is designed to appeal a range of trick-or-treater temperaments. While the exterior conjures up visions of creepy characters with its menacing appearance, the Pirate Cave is family-friendly fun for everyone, and offers a secret shortcut passage direct to the treasure for the timid. The Pirate Cave concentrates on cool atmosphere rather than gore, and it has been cited for its uniqueness among area yard haunts.
Jones' Pirate Cave depicts his mastery of design and special effects, and features his decoration talents.
The public is invited to join the throngs on Halloween Night at The Pirate Cave at 7919 Lasaine Ave, Northridge CA, 91325.
