Power Output Surges in China, an Industrial Info News Alert

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar
Land, Texas) -- By the end of September, the power output of Datang
International Power Generation Company Limited (Beijing) and its affiliates
reached 86.5 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), an increase of 31.6% compared
with the same period last year, and the total power sold to Datang Power's
grid reached 81.5 billion kWh in the first three quarters of this year, an
increase of 31.9% year over year, Datang Power said on October 15, 2007.
According to Datang Power, the significant increase in the first three
quarters of this year is mainly the result of growth in installed capacity
in operation, service demand and the improvement of liability in unit
operation.
