About the Author

Mitchell Furman, eighty-three, has been married to Eleanor for fifty-eight years and is the father of a daughter, Merrill, and twin sons, Michael and Marc. He is the proud grandfather of seven wonderful grandchildren. He served in World War II and was in the Battle of the Bulge. Furman was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge. He ran a successful family business and has led an interesting and active retirement, only overshadowed by his PTSD.
