Former L.A. Designer Janine Templeton Puts Couture and Class into Spry Spring 2008 Dresses and Sportswear Line

Casting off years of denim overload and frumpy garment layering, the J.Templeton brand is luring feminity, individuality and effortless sophistication out of the closet with a chic and contemporary dress and sportswear collection for Spring 2008.

Once known for designing provocative corsets and bustiers, former lingerie designer Janine Templeton delves into wardrobes with fresh pieces such as the Sequin Stripe Rugby dress and the Silk Chiffon Drop Waist Dress.

From Asia to Europe travels three or four times each year, Templeton pulls in the most innovative fabrics and most interesting new developments in embroidery and embellishments. Each component of the garments in the J. Templeton line is hand-selected and designed to tailor the Collection with an overall signature look that embodies the casual luxury and tastefulness the J.Templeton brand represents.

Templeton's design foundations are rooted in the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Ecole Superieure de la Mode in Paris, along with design positions at Bill Blass in NYC and Fritzi sportswear, among others. The launch of the J. Templeton Spring 2008 line caps her departure from her head design position at a Los Angeles-based lingerie company.

While stepping out with The Spring 2008 J. Templeton line, Templeton will be stepping forward to address the epidemic of Autism by donating a percentage of the profits from the J.Templeton Collection to Autism charities.
