Anti-US, Anti-Israel Protest in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 5: To protest against the construction of a bar in the United States on the pattern of sacred Muslim site of Makkah, dozens of youth took to roads in the summer capital Srinagar and staged anti-America and anti-Israel demonstrations.

Carrying placards and banners, the protesting youth, who were led by religious leaders, were raising slogans like "Down with America, Down with Israel". They were protesting against the construction of bar in United States on the pattern of sacred Muslim site of Makkah. "This is meant to hurt the sentiments of Muslims. The Muslims across the world are deeply hurt by it and it is a continuous policy of US and Israel to hurt the Muslims. Now it is the time to act for Muslims. The Muslims across the world should boycott the US and Israeli made items and goods", the protesting youth said.

The protesting youth also burnt the US and Israeli flags. They cautioned the US and Israel not to play with the patience of Muslims. "Both these countries should respect the religious sentiments of other people and communities", they said, adding, "Muslims can tolerate anything except insult to their religion".
