GlobalVetConnect.com Relaunch

  Share With Friends

After months of careful research, planning and development, Global Vet Connect (GVC), a Fort Myers-based Veteran's support company is pleased to announce the relaunch of its website, located at www.globalvetconnect.com.

The aim of the redesign is to make the website easier to navigate and to provide even more helpful and informative content on GVC's important impact regarding Veterans and their issues. GVCs goal is to continue to be the "one-stop shop" for all things Veteran.

With the newly designed interface, members join the GVC Network, which allows Veterans, their familes and friends to socially network, instant message, join groups, view and create classifieds, obtain up-to-date Veteran news and legislation and more. In addition, each profile is equipped with internal site mail. The menus have been completely redesigned to be clear and simple, providing quick immediate access to important pages.

The newly created "Events" section allows Veterans to access a public calendar, where they have the ability to add events such as reunions, get-togethers, celebrations and more.

The revamped "Articles" section provides the Veteran access to valuable information including legislation, benefits and step-by-step instructions on how to contact their Congressmen, Senators and VA Representatives.

A "Classifieds" section has also been introduced, which includes housing, automotive and employment as well as personal contact ads. Members now have the ability to post blogs, upload photos, share stories and much more.

GVC's IT Manager Colin Reci said, "Global Vet Connect will give Veterans a place to create their own personal spot to be as creative as they want and to freely express themselves. Users will be able to chat and connect with those they were enlisted with, all with the ease of a simple profile search. Not only that, but we have the most up-to-date security protection to keep members safe from spammers and those trying to be malicious, thus keeping information private that the user deems to be private."

Global Vet Connect, a free service which has been online since May 2007 continues to attract more than 5,000 unique visitors per month - a number that's surely to grow.
