Titan Energy Development, Inc. Completes Delivery of 300kW Generator to Senior Living Facility in Warroad, Minnesota
Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI)
announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, delivered a
300kW diesel engine generator system to Warroad Senior Campus, located in
Warroad, Minnesota. The system is large enough to supply emergency power
to the complete assisted living community. Warroad Senior Campus is
located in northern Minnesota and is subject to extreme cold weather
conditions. Stellar Energy is an authorized dealer and service provider
for Generac Power Systems in five Midwestern states.
Mike Marcinek, Sales Engineer for Stellar Energy, stated, "The hospital,
outpatient clinic, nursing home, and assisted living communities are
markets we targeted at the beginning of 2006. The health care market
continues to be a strong growth area for our emergency products and repair
services. This system will enable residents to enjoy their assisted living
home regardless of any power interruptions that may be caused by a loss of
utility service."
The emergency power system that Stellar provided includes a sound
attenuated outdoor enclosed 300kW diesel engine generator, and (3) General
Electric, Zenith automatic transfer switches. The automatic transfer
switches continually monitor the incoming utility, if there is a loss of
power the system will automatically start and transfer the assisted living
community onto the engine generator within 10 seconds. The engine
generator was manufactured by Generac Power Systems, Inc. of Waukesha,
Wisconsin. The 300kW unit is large enough to power 50 average residential
homes.
