This summer, Congress passed an energy bill that could help reduce global warming. But now the House and Senate versions must be reconciled -- and there are a few Senators who adamantly oppose improving fuel efficiency and energy standards.
If we have any hope of effectively combating global warming, the new energy bill must include strong fuel economy and renewable electricity standards.
