High Performance NetAdvantage for WPF Express Includes Enhanced, Faster Functionality

Infragistics, the world leader in presentation layer development tools, announced today the availability of NetAdvantage for WPF Express, a free version of the fully functional XamDataGrid control that enables developers to present information in the tabular style with which users are familiar. The XamDataGrid can be used to produce polished reports, tables, ledgers and product listings, and provides superior versatility to edit, sort, group, and show hierarchical data relationships. The free NetAdvantage for WPF Express can be downloaded at http://www.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantage/wpf.aspx?panel=Downloads

Originally available just for MSDN subscribers, Infragistics decided to make the XamDataGrid available to the general public. "We've decided to give the XamDataGrid away for free to everyone so developers can get a feel for the power we give to WPF," said Andrew Flick, product manager for Rich Client at Infragistics. "The XamDataGrid is a highly versatile, powerful presentation control that supports many traditional grid UI features and embraces the WPF styling architecture to give developers full control over the final presentation through style and template editing."

NetAdvantage for WPF Express now includes faster grid performance that can load 5,000 rows or 50,000 rows in just seconds and enhanced functionality such as smooth scrolling of the xamGrid, and sorting and grouping of data with the 'Outlook Group By' feature.
