Famous Jazz Saxophone Player, Jeff Brown: Messenger of Smooth Jazz in Russia

Millions of Americans are rediscovering the smooth and sexy tones of Jazz, and one jazz musician is striving to make this a worldwide trend.

In decades past the jazz band was the staple of smoky taverns and backstreet bars that were mere holes in the wall. For a while the pop artists stole the rolling thunder that was the domain of the smooth jazz saxophone player and some feared that the jazz age had come to a quiet end. Yet in recent years a resurgence of jazz radio has caused the names of the tried and true greats as well as those of the up and coming jazz masters to once again be heard across the nation, and it did not take long for a loyal following to demand attention. At the center of the new movement is the jazz player; the aficionado who embodies the heart and soul of jazz art and who can express it to a rapt audience with the means of a bass, piano, guitar, or saxophone.

It is the latter that has made Jeff Brown a household name for those who are rediscovering jazz or perhaps coming up close and personal with this art form for the very first time. Speaking to that bottled up passion deep inside the teen and twenties audience as well as the spirit of mature hunger for world change in the thirty and over crowd, Jeff Brown's sexy smooth jazz saxophone sounds have enraptured audiences in Japan where he played for the American Pavilion at the World Expo, in Belgium where his tunes comforted refugees, and in Brazil.

Setting a new standard for jazz and proving once and for all that jazz is not dead, but instead is quickly and efficiently evolving into a worldwide art movement, Jeff is taking his saxophone on tour to Tomsk and Moscow, Russia, where his art will entrance a large audience from September 20th - 29th.

Visitors to the concert will be enthralled to hear his rendition of great jazz tunes, original compositions, behold the jazz saxophone technique that is making him a name around the world, and of course permit the stage presence of Jeff Brown to make for a definitive jazz experience that will never be forgotten and may indeed inspire the local jazz talent to take up their instruments in turn and hope to one day achieve the dreamy quality of his play.

Jeff Brown resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. To reserve unforgettable music for every event, Jeff Brown can be contacted at 954-607-0800 or emailed at jeffbrown777@hotmail.com
