Lloyd Marcus appointed Republican Minority Outreach Coordinator
Republican Executive Committee of Volusia County Chairman, Jim Coffield informed Lloyd Marcus of his appointment as Minority Outreach Coordinator.
Over the years, Marcus, a rare black conservative republican visual artist, singer, songwriter and professional entertainer has been very outspoken sharing his beliefs and values via letters published in newspapers and the internet such as the Washington Times, World Net Daily and etc.
Marcus sings at major support rallies for our troops, God and country. He penned patriotic anthems (Celebrate America and United We Stand) and tributes to President Ronald Reagan (Ronnie Stayed the Same) and Vietnam Vets (Welcome Home Brother). Marcus' anti-illegal immigration music video (Can't Afford the Sunshine) is receiving rave reviews.

For the past 5 years, Marcus has served as the Creative Director for the RECVC producing the entertainment for their annual Lincoln Dinners. He is also their Events Chairman.
Media worldwide covered Marcus' victory for freedom of speech by winning his federal lawsuit to have his paintings re-installed in a Florida City's Black History Month Exhibition. The city banned Marcus' paintings because of "religious themes".
In 2006, Marcus addressed the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington DC regarding the banned paintings incident.
In 2007, Marcus was awarded the Republican Executive Committee of Volusia County Above & Beyond award and Four Townes Rotary Service Above Self award.
For 15 years, Marcus worked as a Graphic Designer and supervisor in the Creative Services art department of WJZ-TV Baltimore, ABC-TV affiliate. He provided graphics for the television station's morning talk show and performed as a guest on several occasions. Marcus even wrote and performed a farewell tribute song for the young black female co-host of the program, Oprah Winfrey, when she landed her own show in Chicago.
Using his promotional, artistic, musical skills and 30 years of experience, Marcus will reach out to minorities encouraging them to join what he calls, "the true party of the American Dream, The Republicans."
