Cadec Global Expands Management Team With Three Additional Software Industry Veterans
New Hires Bring Combined 60+ Years' Experience to Fleet Management Software Firm

systems, announced today that it has expanded its management team with
three new appointments: Doug Frank as Vice President, Professional Services
and Business Development; Frank Moreno as Vice President, Marketing; and
Owen Smith as Vice President, Sales.
The three have a combined 60+ years' experience and track records of
success helping to grow enterprise software companies. Frank was most
recently Senior Vice President Channel, Sales and Business Development at
Cadec partner Maptuit Corporation. Moreno was most recently Vice President,
Marketing for software firm Mindreef. Smith was Vice President, Sales and
Business Development for AMSI, a division of Infor Global Solutions.
At Cadec, all three report to CEO Michael Baney. "Cadec is on a swift
growth trajectory, and Doug, Frank and Owen all have experience helping to
manage and accelerate software company growth," said Baney. "Their

These new management appointments are the latest in a series of recent
Cadec achievements; among them:
-- Achieving record revenue growth in the first half of 2007;
-- Growing headcount by 50 percent over the past year;
-- Moving into expanded headquarters in Manchester, NH;
-- The appointments of new CEO Michael Baney and Chairwoman Melanie Cary;
and
-- Its May 2007 purchase by private equity firm Brú Venture Capital.
About Douglas Frank
Doug Frank is a seasoned software executive with 20 years' experience in
business-to-business, enterprise software solutions. As Vice President,
Professional Services and Business Development for Cadec, he is responsible
for forming strong partnerships with complementary companies that can help
customers maximize the value of their Cadec solutions, and for ensuring
customer success through efficient and effective implementation and support
services. He previously led sales and business development for Cadec
partner Maptuit, a leading provider of navigation and logistics software
solutions for the transportation industry. Frank was also part of the sales
management team that helped launch MapQuest in the late 90s, and served as
Vice President, Sales for TNT Vacations. A graduate of the University of
Wisconsin at Madison, Frank resides in Topsfield, Mass.

About Frank Moreno
Moreno has more than 15 years of software marketing experience. As Vice
President, Marketing at Cadec he is responsible for all marketing and
branding strategy and execution. He was previously Vice President,
Marketing at Mindreef, where he helped jump start its marketing
initiatives. Prior to Mindreef, Moreno was Director, Product Marketing at
Empirix, where he successfully established Empirix as the leading player in
an emerging category of software testing solutions, and was responsible for
marketing strategy, positioning, programs and communications. Moreno also
held senior marketing roles at software vendors SMARTS and Dirig. A
graduate of Syracuse University, Moreno lives in Bedford, NH.

About Owen Smith
Smith has 25 years of senior sales management and enterprise software
experience. As Vice President, Sales he is responsible for building and
managing the sales team for Cadec. He was previously with Infor Global
Solutions (formerly Geac) for 10 years in a series of increasingly senior
sales management roles, most recently as Vice President, Sales and Business
Development for the AMSI division. In that role, he helped transform the
division into a strong company contributor of increased revenue and
profitability. He also re-organized and expanded the direct sales team and
channel organization. Prior to Infor, Smith spent 15 years with or as a
reseller of Remanco Systems (acquired by Geac), a point-of-sale and
enterprise software provider to the hospitality industry. At Remanco,
Smith served as Vice President, Sales prior to forming his own successful
sales and service business as Remanco's authorized reseller in the New York
metropolitan area. Smith attended Montclair State University and is a
resident of Bedford, NH.
