Kid Rock Delivers "ROCK N ROLL JESUS"; Service Begins October 9th; Rock Sermons Scheduled in Select Cities

As far as Kid Rock is concerned, October 9th
can't get here soon enough. America's "Devil Without A Cause" will turn
more than a few heads with his new studio album, "ROCK N ROLL JESUS."
Recorded at his Clarkston Chophouse studio in Clarkston, MI, the album was
produced by Kid Rock and Rob Cavallo, and sees Rock backed by his long-time
Twisted Brown Trucker band, with additional vocals by the Fisk Jubilee
Singers.
Easily the artist's most provocative work to date, the album tackles themes
such as race relations, religion in America, and, of course, sex. The
album's first single, "So Hott," is racing up the rock radio charts,
already hitting the Top 10 with the loving sentiment, "I want to f**k you
like I'm never going to see you again." VH1 took the risk of premiering
the provocative video this past Saturday on their Top 20 Countdown.
The 12-track collection -- which is dedicated to Rock's great friend, the
late Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun -- stands as a highlight of
a musical career marked by constant artistic reinvention and creative
growth, confirming Kid Rock's place in the rock 'n' roll pantheon.
The October 9th release will be heralded by a massive promotional blitz --
including a series of intimate concerts, packing the arena-sized Kid Rock
extravaganza into small venues that will give die-hard fans a chance to see
the larger-than-life rocker up close. Confirmed experiences will occur in
Cincinnati (Taft Theater), NYC (The Fillmore NY at Irving Plaza), Toronto
(Kool Haus), Nashville (Ryman Auditorium), Miami (Fillmore Miami Beach at
Jackie Gleason Theater), Atlanta (Tabernacle), San Francisco
(Fillmore), Vancouver (Commodore Ballroom), Denver (Paramount Theater),
Milwaukee (Eagles Ballroom), and Chicago (Aragon Entertainment Center).
