Annual 9-11 Freedom Walk Announced by Reagan Library, MilitaryConnection

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library joins forces with MilitaryConnection.com for the second annual Simi Valley Freedom Walk on Tuesday, September 11th.
Please join them and remember the victims on the sixth anniversary of September 11th, and honor our troops and Veterans on the second annual walk.
Program
4:15 p.m.
Pre-program patriotic music; 1st Marine Division Band, United States Marine Corps, Camp Pendleton
5:00 p.m.
Program begins, including:
USS Ronald Reagan Honor Guard and Drill Team
Captain Terry Kraft, Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan
Corporal Leavey, Purple-Heart Recipient from Operation Iraqi Freedom
Deena Burnett Baily, whose husband, Tom Burnett, was the ringleader of the small group of courageous men that fought back against the terrorists on United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.

5:30 p.m.
Walk begins - The 1.8 mile route will begin in the Reagan Library's courtyard and will conclude at Rancho Madera Community Park off of Wood Ranch Parkway.
6:00 p.m.
Walk concludes. Light refreshments will be offered and Air National Guard Band of the Southwest provided post-program musical entertainment at the park. Complementary shuttle service will return the participants to their cars at the Library.
