eMolecules and Wiley Announce ChemGate, the Spectroscopy Search Engine With 700,000 Spectra for 500,000 Chemicals

eMolecules, Inc., provider of the world's largest chemical structures search engine, and Wiley-VCH, a leading publisher for the scientific, technical, and medical communities worldwide, announce the release of ChemGate at www.chemgate.emolecules.com.

The search engine containing high quality NMR, IR and MS spectra allows chemists to search by chemical structure and access spectra for a given structure by a single click. This makes complex identification of chemicals and structure elucidation of novel materials dramatically easier than previous methods. Most of the NMR spectra are assigned by master spectroscopists and have literature references. Prof. Wolfgang Robien, the renowned CNMR expert at the University of Vienna, reviews the spectral data to ensure it's high quality.

"eMolecules is proud to put this valuable information at the fingertips of every chemist worldwide," said Klaus Gubernator, CEO of eMolecules. "The Wiley collection of spectra is of outstanding quality and covers a wide area of chemistry. Combined with our chemical search engine, ChemGate enables chemists to rapidly retrieve and analyze spectra essential to their research."

Reinhard Neudert, Director of new Business Development at Wiley-VCH adds, "Wiley is eager to serve a larger community of chemists with our spectroscopic content. We have chosen the eMolecules search engine for its unparalleled performance and ease of use. We are pleased to be partners in this groundbreaking scientific venture."
