MSE Enviro-Tech Corp.'s Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor Awarded Class A Rating From ASTM E-84-07 Surface Burning Test
MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. (PINKSHEETS: MEVT) is
pleased to announce that its Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor fully met the
requirements for the Class A Interior Wall and Ceiling Finish Category,
when recently tested in accordance with the American Society for Testing
and Materials' (ASTM) - Standard Test Method for Surface Burning
Characteristics of Building Materials. Class A is the highest achievable
category. In addition to this burn test, carried out on a popular
homebuilding lumber (Douglas fir), further burn tests are planned for other
AF21-treated materials, including a variety of fabrics and textiles
commonly found in houses and other buildings.
Michael S. Robinson, MEVT President & CEO, noted that "While the results of
the ASTM burn tests were expected based on internal testing and the review
of similar tests conducted on AF21 in other countries, it is still very
gratifying to receive such exceptional results from the initial U.S.
testing of AF21 under strict ASTM testing standards. These test results
represent a significant step forward in the Company's goal of achieving
commercialization of Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor in the U.S. as quickly as
possible."
Environmentally Friendly Hartindo AF21
AF21 is a water-based, environmentally friendly, multi-purpose, non-toxic
and non-corrosive fire inhibitor. As opposed to the numerous, and
oftentimes toxic fire retardants on the market that simply delay the spread
of fire, AF21 renders materials non-flammable, thereby preventing the
spread of fire. It can be applied to all natural fibers and many synthetic
materials. A few of the many applications include the treatment of
furniture, carpet, clothing, mattresses and building materials, both onsite
or during the manufacturing process, to completely eliminate the
possibility of these materials catching fire.
MSE Enviro-Tech Corp.
Upon completion of testing and certification of AF21 as an effective fire
inhibitor, MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. will aggressively pursue market share
through a nationwide marketing and distribution network being established
for the exciting Hartindo anti-fire product line, for which it holds the
United States agency distribution rights. The product line includes the
AF21 Flame Inhibitor, the AF11E 1:1 Halon replacement product and AF31 Fire
Extinguishing product, the Titan 21 Fire Blanket, as well as the
revolutionary rust converter and priming agent, Dectan.
