Enter 'Why I Really Left My Job' Video Contest -- Win $1,000
Entries Due September 30
People change jobs for many reasons: ogre
bosses, smelly co-workers, dogs in the office, interminable commutes, and a
mountain of other discontents that frequently elude employers, either
because they don't ask or because the soon-to-be-ex-employee doesn't feel
comfortable telling the truth. Now Nobscot Corporation is sponsoring a
"Why I Really Left My Job" Video Contest that invites you or a friend to
let it all hang out. First prize is $1,000.
Just create a 30-second to 7-minute YouTube-style video advertisement to
help Nobscot promote its exit interview software. Begin with a person
talking about the reasons behind his or her job defection, and end with
"Find out why your employees are really leaving" along with Nobscot's name
and website address (www.nobscot.com). In between, use your ingenuity.
Make viewers laugh. Make them cry. In a clever or engaging way, make
companies realize the need to understand the causes behind employee
turnover.
Entries will be judged on their creativity, professional quality, and
usability for marketing purposes. In addition to the $1,000 first prize,
10 runners-up will be awarded $100 each. Entries must be submitted online
at WhyAreYouLeavingFilm@nobscot.com by September 30, 2007.
