ENCAP Named to Inc. 500
Innovative Company Recognized as Number 110 on Inc. Magazine's List of the Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America

ENCAP(TM) LLC, inventor of advanced soil
technologies that fight erosion, establish seeds and hold fertilizers in
place, today announced the honor of being named number 110 on the Inc.
Magazine list of the "500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in
America."
The Inc. 500 ranks privately held companies according to year-over-year
sales growth from 2003 to 2006. With approximately 75 percent of all new
job creation in the U.S. coming from entrepreneurial businesses, the Inc.
500 opens a window onto the companies and industries that are driving the
economy forward. Over the years, the Inc. 500 has identified the next
generation of world-class companies including Microsoft, Oracle, The
Princeton Review, Morningstar, Jamba Juice, Gateway and E*Trade.
ENCAP's approach to business exemplifies its mantra of Real Innovation(TM)
through the solving of real-world problems in a meaningful, valuable and
effective way. The company focuses on both the science and technology when
developing products. This dual focus allows ENCAP to produce cutting-edge
products for the lawn and garden industry, erosion control market and fire
restoration market. Additionally, ENCAP's Advanced Soil Technology(TM)
(AST(TM)) and Movement Control Technology(TM) (MCT(TM)) are on the
forefront of innovation in the international world of erosion control, seed
establishment, fertilizer runoff, and other environmental management
challenges.
ENCAP was co-founded in 1999 by company president and CEO Michael Krysiak
and FEECO International, the world's largest engineering, equipment, and
material processing company involved in the waste processing industry. The
catalyst for ENCAP's initial product line was the company's Waste
Transformation Technology (WTT(TM)). This technology transforms waste
materials into completely new products possessing both strategic and
marketable advantages over the competition.
In addition to quality and technology, ENCAP's unique commercialization
approach is helping to drive company success. In recognition that every
employee plays an important role in taking care of customers, ENCAP has
developed a business model that allows and enables them to make a
difference. Krysiak describes it as "uncorking the potential" of everyone
in the organization. ENCAP's unique business approach has prospered. The
company's technology and products, including Grass Repair Kit, New Lawn Kit
and Fast Acting Lime, can now be found on the store shelves of the nation's
largest retailers, including Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, Kmart, Menards,
Meijers, PetSmart and many others. Krysiak credits the company's first
accounts, including Steins Garden Centers, for giving ENCAP the opportunity
to succeed. In addition to retail, ENCAP's technologies are penetrating
into numerous other markets as well. The professional landscape,
construction, DOT and golf markets, along with the fire restoration market
and related international markets have all utilized ENCAP's technologies.
Each of these sectors plays a significant role in the company's long-term
growth strategy. ENCAP is also helping the United States Forest Service
and other government agencies restore burnt lands after the devastating
effects of the massive wildfires with the company's PAM-12 product.
Multiple restoration projects have already been successfully completed on
burned areas in the Uinta, Mount Hood, and Dixie National Forests.
ENCAP's growth has not gone unnoticed by major media outlets. In addition
to being named to the prestigious Inc. 500 list, ENCAP was recently
profiled in a national television segment on CNBC-TV, where the commentator
noted, "Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers you've heard of... ENCAP,
you will." The company's technology and products have also been featured in
American Reconstruction Magazine, Dog Fancy, Land & Water and Landscape
Construction. In addition to the media accolades, ENCAP has received
numerous awards. In 2006, ENCAP was awarded the Wisconsin Technology
Transfer award, by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. This award is given to the
company that most successfully brings an idea to commercialization. Both
ENCAP and Krysiak have also been recognized locally by the Green Bay
Chamber of Commerce with the High Technology Manufacturer of the Year award
in 2006, and Small Business Person of the Year award in 2007, respectively.
"ENCAP being named to the Inc. 500 list is a direct result of the tireless
efforts and complete dedication of our entire team. We are so fortunate to
have employees who really take ENCAP to heart. I am amazed every day at
the commitment they have to our short and long term success," said Krysiak.
"In addition to our current ENCAP team, those who are standing by us, such
as Dan Madigan, president of FEECO, Dr. Aicardo Roa, Soil Scientist and
Engineer, and my immediate family who has supported this since day one,
share in this award as well," added Krysiak, who summarized his thoughts by
saying "we are truly blessed." Each ENCAP employee shares in the company's
values of being driven, honorable, perseverant and most importantly,
innovative. Innovation is a central theme to ENCAP. While the company
currently enjoys commercial and retail success with its line of more than
20 products, both current and future ENCAP customers can look forward to
new technologies and products that will continue to define Real
Innovation(TM). In the spring of 2008, ENCAP will be releasing a new line
of products including Gypsum, Iron, and Sulfur with AST(TM). Each of these
products will be driven by the technology and innovation that has made
ENCAP what it is today.
