Kinetic Data Awarded GSA Schedule 70 Contract
Contract Award Broadens Government Market Opportunities

Kinetic
Data, the leading provider of third-party business service management (BSM) tools for the BMC Remedy
platform, today announced it has been awarded a United States General
Services Administration (GSA)
Schedule 70 contract, number GS-35F-0554T, effective since July 27, 2007.
The contract authorizes Kinetic Data to provide software products, support,
training and consulting services to the U.S. federal government.
The GSA establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial
vendors to streamline and standardize the process of procuring products and
services for the entire federal government. Kinetic Data's inclusion as a
GSA Schedule 70 vendor enables all government agencies to obtain the
company's BMC Remedy-based BSM software and services at approved pricing
and license terms from a trusted vendor.
The GSA Schedule 70 award is the culmination of a rigorous process in which
the GSA carefully evaluates companies to determine their proficiency and
suitability for providing products and/or services to the federal
government. The assessment covers an array of a corporation's capabilities,
including organizational structure, performance history, customer
satisfaction and other criteria. In awarding Kinetic Data a GSA Schedule 70
contract, the federal government has determined that the company is
recognized as fully authorized to conduct business directly with federal
government agencies.
"While we have a long-standing commitment to serving federal government
customers, such as the U.S. Department of Transportation, this GSA contract
award is a very important milestone for our company," said John Sundberg,
president of Kinetic Data. "The federal government represents a significant
portion of the BMC Remedy user community, so today's announcement will
greatly simplify the process of serving this tremendous market opportunity.
What's more, our GSA contract award represents a powerful and meaningful
endorsement of Kinetic Data as a strong, trustworthy and capable supplier
to the public sector as well as to private sector commercial
organizations."
About GSA
Founded in 1949, GSA serves as a centralized procurement and property
management agency for the federal government. GSA manages more than
one-fourth of the government's total procurement dollars and influences the
management of $500 billion in federal assets, including 8,300
government-owned or leased buildings and 205,000 vehicles. GSA helps
preserve our past and define our future, as a steward of more than 420
historic properties, and as manager of USA.gov, the official portal to
federal government information and services. GSA's mission to provide
superior workplaces, expert technology solutions, acquisition services,
purchasing, and E-Gov travel solutions and management policies, at best
value, allows federal agencies to focus on their core missions.
