Keithley Instruments Elevates Membership Status in PXI Systems Alliance

The PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA, www.pxisa.org)
announced today that Keithley
Instruments (NYSE: KEI), Cleveland, OH, has increased its membership
status to the higher Executive Member level from its previous Associate
Member Status. This level of membership gives Keithley (www.keithley.com) a
voice in technical specification development/approval and marketing
direction of the Alliance.
"Keithley has established a leadership position during the past few years
in building strong solutions to support whatever platforms our customers
choose, rather than what we choose," explained Mark Hoersten, Keithley vice
president, business administration. "We are proud to offer products
compatible with every major instrumentation bus, including GPIB, USB, LXI,
PCI and of course PXI,
so that our customers can adopt the platform that best suits their
application with no sacrifice in measurement performance."
As part of its commitment to developing PXI products for high speed
automated production testing, Keithley recently introduced a full suite of
PXI products as part of its KPXI product line. KPXI products provide
precision measurement solutions built around a series of simultaneous data acquisition boards,
multifunction analog I/O boards, high speed analog output boards, a 130
MS/sec digitizer module, digital I/O modules, PXI chassis, embedded PC
controllers, MXI bridges (for remote PC control), and GPIB interface cards.
KPXI products are designed for optimal integration with precision
instrumentation, such as Keithley's Series 2600 System SourceMeter®
Instrument for multi-channel I-V test solutions. For details on specific
KPXI products, visit http://www.keithley.com/products/pxi.
