The world's leading subject matter experts (SMEs) in RFID technology from Avery-Dennison, Impinj and Rush Tracking Systems have joined with RFIDWizards.com to introduce the Manufacturing RFID Master Class. Designed specifically for manufacturers, this one-of-a-kind course is developed, taught and supported by RFID technology specialists and held at Avery-Dennison's world-class RFID-enabled facilities in Atlanta, Ga., October 16 - 19, 2007.
RFID Master Class students are taught the same techniques used by the SMEs and then have the opportunity to apply those principals to their specific business operations and processes. Louis Sirico, founder of RFIDWizards.com, a community comprised of RFID SMEs, shared the vision. "Each SME helped to develop a section of the course where they are considered an authority, giving students the opportunity to learn from the best of the best." Toby Rush, president of Rush Tracking Systems, added, "It is very exciting to be collaborating on a course that emphasizes experiences obtained during real-world implementations."
The class is divided into two, 2-day sessions of intensive, hands-on learning. Session one focuses on developing a successful strategy to improve asset visibility, work-in-progress management, and calculating return on investment. Session two teaches more hands-on application and project management using RFID equipment provided by Impinj and Avery-Dennison. "We are pleased to participate in and provide support for the RFID Master Class," said Jim Donaldson, senior director of corporate communications at Impinj. "We are confident that manufacturers will find great value in learning about real-world RFID deployments directly from the technologists who are making them happen."
Cost for each session is $1,995 or $3,495 for both sessions. For more information or to register, please visit http://RFIDWizards.com/training.
