MediaSpan Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Ann Arbor, MI
Strong Technology Talent Pool, State of Michigan Tax Incentives Influence Decision

MediaSpan, the leading provider of digital
content management, online marketing and national advertising solutions for
over 4,000 local media properties, announced today that it will move its
headquarters to Ann Arbor, MI from Raleigh, NC. This comes on the heels of
the Company's recent plans to expand its facilities at 333 Jackson Plaza in
Ann Arbor to accommodate the corporate headquarters staff and operations.
Both moves will take place over the next few months.
As part of a state and local incentive package to promote growth, both the
Michigan Economic Growth Authority and the Scio Township Board of Trustees
voted to approve tax abatements totaling over $1 Million for a period of 7
to 12 years.
Dr. F.R. Campagnoni, MediaSpan's CEO said, "Moving our corporate
headquarters to Ann Arbor is an exciting event for MediaSpan, and a
positive occurrence for Southeastern Michigan. It exemplifies our
commitment to serving the growing needs of our customers by providing them
with the best technology resources available. The move will allow MediaSpan
to offer added job opportunities, while being able to take advantage of the
area's rich employment pool."
"MediaSpan's decision to invest in Michigan and relocate its corporate
headquarters to Ann Arbor underscores that Michigan is indeed a special
place, with a strong technology workforce and business climate unmatched
anywhere else," Michigan Economic Development Corporation President and CEO
James C. Epolito said. "We look forward to working with the company, Ann
Arbor SPARK and Scio Township to secure MediaSpan's continued growth and
success in Michigan."
MediaSpan currently employs over 100 people in its Ann Arbor facility and
over 240 worldwide, having added 30 jobs since the beginning of the year.
Expansion plans call for investing over $1.7M in the Corporate HQ over the
next five years, including adding more than 80 employees, and bringing on
25 additional staff members within the next year.
The MediaSpan office in Ann Arbor was formerly the home of Baseview, a
software company founded in 1986 and purchased by the Harris Corporation
(based in Melbourne, FL) in 1997. MediaSpan subsequently purchased the
combined companies in 2001.
In addition to the Ann Arbor facilities, MediaSpan will maintain
operational offices in San Clemente, CA, Melbourne, FL, and New York, NY.
