By Fayaz Wani

Indian police in Kashmir are on the lookout for two Nepalis, who have killed two persons in Leh, Ladakh.

Two persons were killed in the Khalsi area of Leh, Ladakh and during the investigation into the case, Indian police established the hand of two Nepalis working in the area, behind the double murder.

However, before police could arrest them, the two nationals from Nepal escaped from the area. A top police officer of Leh told this correspondent that both of them fled from Leh during the preceding night.

Identifying the duo as Ganesh 20 and Pramod 19, of district Saliyan, Nepal, the police officer said that a massive manhunt has been launched to track down the two Nepalis, wanted in the double murder. "We have flashed signals to all police stations in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Besides we have also send signals to the police of some Indian states, bordering Jammu and Kashmir", the police officer said.

The police officer said that Ganesh is around 5 ft in height, wheatish colored, bit fatty with black hair, sports a small beard with moustache and was last seen wearing blue shirt, black pant. Another absconding Nepali, Pramod is around 5ft 6" in height, is thin built with a dark triangular face, sports moustache and was last seen with Red T-shirt, Army camouflage pants.

It is pertinent to mention here that hundreds of Nepali nationals are working in the restive state of Jammu and Kashmir. Most of them are working as guards in houses or private establishments.
