Cleco Corp. Names Olagues to Head Cleco Midstream Resources LLC

Cleco Corp. (NYSE: CNL) announced it has
named Darren J. Olagues as senior vice president of Cleco Midstream
Resources LLC, the company's competitive wholesale generation business.
Olagues, 36, will oversee operations of Midstream's generating assets as
well as develop future business opportunities.
"Darren is a tremendous addition to our senior management team," Cleco
President and CEO Michael Madison said. "His experience will be invaluable
as we explore opportunities to continue growing Cleco."
Olagues comes to Cleco after serving since November 2006 as vice president
of asset management and development for Exelon Power. Prior to that, he
served as Exelon's director of corporate development and as senior vice
president and chief financial officer at Sithe Energies.
A certified public accountant, Olagues was employed by
PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he managed auditing and regulatory services
with what is now Exelon Corp.
He graduated from Tulane University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in
management.
