Translation and Localization Provider ENLASO (translate.com) Celebrates 10th Year of ISO 9001:2000 Certification

ENLASO (translate.com), a leading provider of
enterprise language solutions, announced today that it has achieved ISO
9001:2000 certification for the 10th consecutive year. ISO certification
affirms that the company's translation and localization processes attain
internationally recognized standards for quality and customer service.
After an extensive audit of ENLASO's Boulder, CO operations, international
certification body BSI has yet again recommended ENLASO for ISO 9001:2000
recertification. Maintaining this certification for the past 10 years
effectively illustrates ENLASO's continuing commitment to customer service.
"Our ongoing ISO 9001 certification reflects our dedication to quality
system processes that provide our customers with consistent, high quality
localization services," said Yves Lang, ENLASO's Chief Sales Officer.
From start to finish, each ENLASO project is executed using processes that
follow a strict quality control protocol. Because many of ENLASO's clients
represent highly regulated industries, including medical, pharmaceutical,
energy and transportation, the ISO 9001 certified language processes of
ENLASO ensure that these companies fulfill regulatory requirements.
"As a professional services company, our customer deliverables require
contributions from various disciplines," stated John Watkins, President and
COO of ENLASO. "Optimizing the quality of the contributions of each
discipline requires the simultaneous collaboration of all of our
professionals within each of those disciplines. Our quality management
system establishes processes that make that possible."
These processes can include anything from ENLASO's rigorous linguist
selection to the company's employee training, client-focused account and
project management and customer service practices.
"Every employee at ENLASO actively participates in our quality management
system through cross-functional quality teams," said Watkins. "These teams
have the responsibility for ensuring continuous process improvement so that
we may meet or exceed the evolving needs of our customers. ISO
certification provides us with an effective framework to ensure that our
quality management system is achieving that objective."
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies, with its 9001 certification being
the most established quality framework. More information on ISO and the BSI
Group may be found at www.bsi-global.com.
