Gov. Schwarzenegger's Schedule for July 17

10 a.m. Delta Tour

Chevron Point

Twitchell Island

Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta

7 miles southeast of Rio Vista

Gov. Schwarzenegger will tour the Delta to inspect the severely broken ecosystem and announce actions the administration will put into effect immediately to begin addressing the Delta's many needs. This event will highlight the state's dire need for a comprehensive water package. Following the tour the Governor will hold a press conference at approximately 10:20 a.m.

The tour will be pooled. Pool information to follow.

Directions from Sacramento to Chevron Point:

I-5 South to Highway 12

West on Highway 12 to Highway 160

South on Hwy 160 to Brannan Island Road

East on Brannan Island Road across 7-Mile Slough to Twitchell Island Levee South on Twitchell Island Levee 2.5 miles to Chevron Point.
