CAMP BROADWAY(R) Announces Auditions for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade(R)
National Casting Call for 600 Kids to Perform "Making Magic"; Music by Michael Feinstein; Lyrics by Bill Schermerhorn

CAMP BROADWAY®, the award-winning theater
company that creates special Broadway-themed events, experiences and
educational programs for children, teens and families, proudly announces
that for the third consecutive year it will perform in the annual Macy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade®. Once again, hundreds of talented young
performers from across the country will have the opportunity to perform a
special number written especially for them on the national telecast. This
year, the Parade's performance number is "Making Magic," written by
renowned composer Michael Feinstein, with lyrics by Bill Schermerhorn,
Macy's Creative Director and professional choreography by John Dietrich.

CAMP BROADWAY, under the direction of Artistic Director Tony Parise, is
currently seeking 600 energetic, bright performers, ages 10-16 years old,
to participate in a special one-week program leading up to the performance
in the 81st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, live from Herald Square.
This specially crafted program, featuring a series of Broadway workshops,
classes and rehearsals, includes:
-- Broadway dance workshops
-- Commemorative t-shirt, CD recording of
original song and Macy's Parade Pin
-- Cast Party
-- Herald Square camera blocking rehearsal
-- Costume fitting & Parade Costume
-- Nationally televised parade performance
Auditions will be held in cities nationwide as follows. Additional dates to

Those auditioning should bring a completed application and be prepared to
learn a short dance routine. To download the application, visit
www.campbroadway.com.
Those unable to attend the auditions may submit a videotape with a
completed application form for consideration by Camp Broadway's Artistic
Director. All videotapes submissions must include a short dance routine and
a 1-minute song. Videotapes must arrive at the Camp Broadway office by
September 1, 2007 (no exceptions).
If accepted, the program fee is $695 per participant, not including travel
or housing.
