Interview Edmund Kwaw, Author of "The Magdalene Code" at the Book Expo Canada, June 10th & 11th

Novelist available to answer all questions regarding his latest thriller about a sacred scroll written by Mary-Magdalene at the request of Jesus Christ

Interview Edmund Kwaw at the Book Expo Canada, located at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, building north from June 10th to June 11th, 2007. BookExpo Canada is a publishing industry trade show that combines a large and diverse selection of book titles with an unparalleled conference program and is the perfect opportunity to interview and meet established and upcoming authors such as Kwaw.

Edmund Kwaw will be at Booth 111 Sunday, June 10th from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Monday June 11th from 10:00pm to 4:00pm in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention.

Kwaw's second thriller The Magdalene Code, edited by Carol Sheehan of CS Communication Strategies and published by BookSurge is the follow-up to The Messenger. The novel entertains and explores in great details the speculation and mystery surrounding Mary Magdalene, including her relationship with Jesus Christ and the primordial role she played as a true apostle in laying the foundation for modern Christianity. Set in today's Manhattan, it is both a travel to ancient time and belief and a modern-day sit-on-the-edge-of-your-chair thriller.

In her review of the book, New York Times best selling author Ellen Tanner Marsh, when comparing The Magdalene Code to the Da Vinci Code states, "By its very title, first-time author Edmund Kwaw is taking a huge risk. The Magdalene Code, echoing the title of Dan Brown's runaway cultish best-seller, could very easily have potential readers dismissively crying "been there, done that". Still, it doesn't take a long time with this novel to understand that we have not been there, and we have not done that". She goes on to explain the differences between The Magdalene Code and the Da Vinci Code, and concludes, "All these points are reasons to rejoice and be exceedingly glad to read the book." She describes the book as a "well-written and compelling story".

While The Magdalene Code is a work of fiction, author Edmund Kwaw draws from some remarkable theories that, if true, could potentially rock the core of Christianity. A controversial and well-researched thriller, The Magdalene Code explores not only fundamentally catholic dogmas but also the darker side of human nature and supernatural phenomenon.

The Magdalene Code is available for sale online at Amazon.com, Borders.com, and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.
