Thursday Night Market and Summer Street Fair in Folsom Historic District
On June 7, the Folsom Historic District Association kicks off the 2007 season of Thursday Night Market in a big way... with a big name.
Performance artist David Garibaldi takes the stage on Sutter Street to create original paintings in his unique style. After dazzling audiences in over 200 venues across the country, Garibaldi unveils his new "Rhythm, Color, Culture, Energy" series with a live performance in the middle of Thursday Night Market, followed by a reception at American Visions Gallery.
The "new" Thursday Night Market hosts over 125 vendor booths, with activities for all ages.
These family-friendly events take place every Thursday (June 7 through August 23) from 6 to 9pm on Sutter Street, nestled in Folsom's charming Historic District.
This year's market, with over 80 new vendors, features arts & crafts, food vendors, activities for children, do-it-yourself demonstrations, a fresh produce market, music, raffles, and entertainment for all age groups. For the June 7 kick-off, "Glass House" provides live entertainment.
Visit art galleries, museums, restaurants, antique shops, and much more as you spend a summer evening on historic Sutter Street.
