Minnesota Department of Finance Gets the Checks in the Mail With AppWorx

Business Process Automation Software Optimizes High-Volume Application Processing

UC4 Software today announced that the Minnesota Department of Finance has optimized and automated its Oracle® PeopleSoft environment using the AppWorx automation software. The Department, responsible for the biweekly payment of 47,000 state employees, selected AppWorx to provide mainframe-caliber process management to their distributed IT environment.

"PeopleSoft's onboard scheduling utility wasn't designed to handle the number of data conditions and dependencies that we require," said John Vanderwerf, payroll systems technical director for the Minnesota Department of Finance. AppWorx provides an Oracle-validated integration with PeopleSoft that enables automation of previously manual tasks like launching processes, tracking statuses and retrieving output. Allowing easy integration of PeopleSoft routines with other business applications for multi-step, event-driven processing, AppWorx offers a single console to orchestrate and monitor processes across platforms and applications.
