Intamac Systems Enters Asian Market

Establishes South Korean office after sales success in Europe, North America and Australia

Northampton, 10th May 2007 - Internet-based monitoring and control specialist, Intamac Systems is to enter the Asian market with the opening of a new office based in Seoul, South Korea.

With an advanced economy and a number of global consumer and business electronics brands, Korea has a history of rapid uptake of new technologies and services enabled by broadband and the Internet. In light of this, award-winning Intamac has a very strong proposition for Korean companies that are looking to add value to their existing consumer offerings, increase revenue streams and reduce customer churn.

As well as developing local business, Intamac Systems Korea will focus upon expanding the Intamac business into new regions in Asia, including China and Japan. The office will also provide a direct point of contact for Intamac's existing international partners into the Korean market.

Kevin Meagher, CEO of Intamac Systems comments, "With sales successes in Europe, North America and Australia, this is the next logical step in developing the global Intamac brand."

He continues, "According to the OECD, not only is Korea one of the world's top five countries in terms of broadband penetration, but it is at the forefront of the development and marketing of new consumer technologies and innovation in the use of communications. This is exactly the sort of background that will ensure success of Intamac's Home Manger in a new target market."
